MS Dhoni became the 5th Indian after Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Virat Kohli to score 10,000 ODI runs for India. He had breached the 10,000-run mark in ODIs last year in England – Dhoni now has 10,174 runs in one-day internationals but 174 of those came for Asia XI in three matches.
Overall, Dhoni is only the 12th player in ODI history to reach the 10000-run club. Besdies the four Indian stalwarts, the elite list includes:
