Sachin Tendulkar has responded to Sourav Ganguly’s clarification on entire India versus Pakistan.
A massive debate whether India should boycott the match against Pakistan in the upcoming 2019 World Cup. The debate started following the terror attack at Pulwama, which martyred at least 40 CRPF soldiers.Former cricketers have stood divided on the opinion whether both the arch-rivals should lock horns in the World Cup 2019. Recently, two cricketing legends Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly had opined on the entire topic. However, few had misunderstood what Sachin and Ganguly said regarding whether India should play Pakistan in the World Cup or not.
Sachin Tendulkar had said “India has always come up trumps against Pakistan in the World Cup.Time to beat them once again. Would personally hate to give them two points and help them in the tournament,” .
“Having said that for me India always comes first, so whatever my country decides, I will back that decision with all my heart,” the legendary batsman had added.
To which Ganguly replied by saying, “he (Sachin) wants 2 points against Pakistan, I want World Cup.”
However, there were several reports which mistook Ganguly’s comments and stated that both are contradicting on the topic.
