Rajasthan Royals will be playing their second home game of IPL 2019 against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Jaipur on 2nd April. Both teams will be eager to open their points tally on Tuesday.
The Rajasthan team had suffered close defeats in the three matches.RR have been unlucky so far. Jos Buttler Mankading incident, then they ran into a rampaging SRH batting and last night they lost to the heroics of the world’s best finisher. On the other hand the RCB team, well known for their batting unit, bundled out for 70 and 113 in the two matches away from home.
The Bangalore-based side has tried three different opening partners for Parthiv Patel in as many fixtures, including skipper Kohli, but haven’t found much success. There’s a good chance it could be four in four; RCB could use Stoinis to open the innings.
Jaydev Unadkat has been disappointing for RR. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane’s slow starts are not just pegging them back in the powerplay overs but also wasting a regular opener in Rahul Tripathi down the order for the second successive season. RR have been hurt due to the lack of a proper finisher. Ashton Turner might be the solution here, but that forces out a reliable batsman in Steve Smith.
